Our Clinical Nursing Team, along with the Clinical Governance Committee, guides our dedicated team of spinal cord injury support workers and nurses.
Specialist SCI service provider
At Home Care is experienced in transitioning clients from hospitals and residential care to the community in both local and rural settings, with extensive experience moving and caring for ventilated quadriplegics.
At Home Care is a registered NDIS provider and a registered provider to the Western Australian Ventilator Dependent Quadriplegic Community Care Program (VDQ-CCP). All team members receive specialised training delivered by our accredited trainers and clinical team to ensure they have the skills and confidence to provide this high level of disability support.

Services for Ventilator-Dependent Individuals
Access clinically-led ventilator support services that are with you at every stage, helping you maintain your independence, stay active in the community, and enhance your quality of life. At Home Care’s support workers and nurses undergo additional training and must receive sign-off from our clinical nurses before providing specialised care. This commitment to quality ensures you have confidence in the level of care you receive.
At Home Care is proud to be an official provider of the Ventilator-Dependent Quadriplegic Community Care Program (VDQ-CCP) in WA. A client-focused Spinal Outreach Service is part of the broader State Rehabilitation Service.
The program supports patients, families, and other health services in the care of ventilator-dependent patients, including:
- Transition from your hospital to the community
- Readmission to hospital
- Specialist advice on individualised community care needs.
Our team of skilled Support Workers and Nurses is led by our Head of Nursing and Client Experience, Nurse Manager, and Clinical Nurse Consultants, all of whom have decades of experience as spinal nurses in acute, rehabilitation, and community settings
